Richard has been in the insurance industry for 30 years and specialises in personal protection, business protection, plus group and employee benefits. Over the last 30 years, he has learned a lot, and stored a wealth of knowledge.  Richard particularly enjoys helping business owners to protect their businesses, take care of their staff, and protect their ability to earn an income.  He is a proud member of Advice New Zealand and he belongs to two Peer Groups … Liberty Group and the Corporate Club.  Both groups meet twice a year for camaraderie, sharing ideas and learning.  One of Richard’s strengths is to portray ideas in a simple plain english manner.

“I’m just an ordinary bloke, although I have a passion for playing a sport/game you’ve probably never heard of (or don’t understand how it is played)…. Petanque!!  I have played (and coached) this competitively all over New Zealand.  I also coached a Wellington Senior team (over 60) to win the Tri-Star (Wellington beat both the Canterbury and Southern Regions) as well as a Senior men’s team to win a Trans-Tasman challenge in Port Macquarie NSW.

My partner Rayleen and I (along with a couple of fast growing children, Skye and Ethan) also enjoy chasing down snapper off the beach, with the surfcaster.  I am conscious about only taking enough for a couple of feeds though, so the fishery doesn’t get depleted.  I have an adult daughter Tasha, who lives in Western Australia and I enjoy holidaying with her as well, when the chance arises.  I especially enjoy holidays anywhere in the Pacific Islands, sitting with a cold beer down by the beach, listening to Island music".

Donna has been at Insurance works since 2004, and has 28 years experience in the insurance industry.  She takes care of the office administration, helping to ensure the administration functions of the office flow smoothly.    She is very friendly and enjoys talking to clients and meeting new people.

Donna is married to Matt and has 2 adult children.

“Outside work, I am a huge netball fan (go Silver Ferns!) I also love travelling and I am keen to see as much of the world as I can while I am fit and able.  Another big passion of mine is live music. 

When I am not working, (or travelling … or socialising with friends … or at a concert!), I like to chillax with my husband and zoo of animals on our lifestyle block in Westmere.  I don’t have a lot of down-time, as I always seem to be on the go, but during summer especially, I enjoy spending time with family and friends at our Waverley Beach house with our 2 Labradors.  I took the photo above, of my friends walking along Waverley Beach”
